The anniversary of the Turkmen-Austrian society will be celebrated in Vienna

Artists from Turkmenistan - People’s Artist of the country, singer Aageldi Garyagdyev and pianist Ashir Ashirov - will perform at a recital that will be held on November 20 in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - Vienna. The event is timed to the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Turkmen-Austrian society and the 2018 slogan “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road”. The Turkmen-Austrian society was created in August 2008 as a bridge of friendship between the two countries. Its main goal is to acquaint the inhabitants of Europe, including Austria, with Turkmenistan, its rich history and culture. Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the first in Europe Turkmen-Austrian symphony orchestra “Galkynysh” was created, which debuted on May 22, 2009 in Ashgabat. In the same year, the first issue of the eponymous Turkmen-Austrian magazine Galkynysh was released in Vienna. Since 2011, and the Vienna Ball began to be held in Ashgabat.Aina BERDYYEVA
