Decorative and applied arts of Turkmenistan to be presented at the Exhibition-and-Sale in Moscow


Elena Annaberdiyeva, the craftswoman from Turkmenistan, participates at the specialized Exhibition-and-Sale GRAND TEXTILE, which takes place in Moscow on November 15-18. At the exhibition, Elena Annaberdiyeva will tell visitors about the features of Turkmen decorative and applied art, including the knitting of silk homespun fabric called “ketene”, as well as national dresses and embroidery. Previously, Elena presented her art works at the Golden Masters Jewelry and Applied Arts Fair in St. Petersburg. Hand-made jewelry from Turkmen embroidery made by Sheker Akiniyazova will also be presented at the exhibition in Moscow. She is a regular participant of the Art Bazaar and the Fair of Masters of Decorative and Applied Art of Turkmenistan held in Ashgabat. In addition, designer clothes, accessories, home textiles, materials for needlework and creativity from designers all over the world will be exhibited at the Exhibition-and-Sale GRAND TEXTILE.
