Turkmenistan broadens COVID-19 prevention efforts
The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan has once again distributed updated guidelines on prevention of COVID-19, conducting sanitary and hygienic measures in all establishments, regardless of the form of ownership. The guidelines are developed to prevent the spread of infectious diseases on the territory of Turkmenistan. The manual contains detailed instructions on the implementation of sanitary and hygienic works, the use of disinfection methods, individual and collective protective equipment, and the behavior of personnel in medical institutions and service companies. The manual, for instance, describes methods of disinfection in public places and public transport. It should be noted that a group of WHO experts has arrived in Turkmenistan to assess the epidemiological situation in the country and provide recommendations for improving protective measures against COVID-19.
