Today, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has dismissed Nurmammet Garlyev of his post as Chairman of the State Committee for TV and Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography for serious shortcomings in his work. He has been replaced by Arslan Ashirov. Previously, Ashirov held the post of Head of the Aşgabat TV Channel; two years ago, by the presidential resolution, he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan. And now he returned to TV in a new post.
