Within the framework of the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, humanitarian aid, consisting of medical equipment, has been sent to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on behalf of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan Embassy to Azerbaijan told APA Agency, Azerbaijan.. As of 28 June, there are have been 30,967 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Afghanistan. It makes 0.31 percent out of the total number of infected. Unfortunately, 737 people have already died in Afghanistan; the death rate is 2.38 percent. Meanwhile, 12,604 recoveries across the country that is 40.70 percent. Afghanistan ranks 41st in the terms of infected cases worldwide.
