UN recognizes Turkmenistan as one of the best countries in maternity protection

The UN has defined Turkmenistan as one of the best countries in the world in mother welfare. Thus, according to UN reports published last year, the maternal mortality rate in childbirth in the country is one of the lowest in the region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan TDH reports.
