China launched the last, 55th satellite of the Beidou National Navigation System. It was launched using the Changzheng-3-Bi launch vehicle. Initially, the start was scheduled for June 16, but was postponed due to a technical malfunction. The Beidou-3 system includes 30 satellites. The first was launched on November 5, 2017. It is planned that Beidou will become the fourth largest Global Navigation System in the world and will allow Chinese customers to use the services of their own navigation system around the world.
