Agro-industrial facilities of the Balkan Region are in the focus of the President


The state of the agricultural sector in the western region of the country was the main purpose of the trip by the President of Turkmenistan to the Balkan Region. Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the state of affairs in cropping and livestock farms, wheat yield, and the state of agricultural machinery. In addition, the President inspected the camel breeding industry, the poultry complex with a chicken meat production shop, and the sown areas allocated for growing fodder crops. Entrepreneurs in the Balkan Region working in the agricultural sector told about their plans to increase the number of bovine and small cattle, and expand the area under corn, soybean, barley and alfalfa crops. In addition, Berdimuhamedov visited a floriculture complex specializing in the cultivation of many varieties of flowers, and an exhibition of vegetable and cucurbits crops.
