Harvest camoaign reached northwestern territories of Turkmenistan
The northern and western regions of Turkmenistan joined the harvest of bread. A week earlier, on June 5th, the campaign of grain harvesting was opened by the south and east of Ahal, Lebap and Mary region. Today, harvesters on the fields of the Dashoguz and Balkan regions joined their colleagues. Due to the climatic features of these regions, the wheat wedge is smaller here, unlike others. In Dashoguz it occupies 145 thousand hectares, and in the coastal region - 50 thousand hectares. Accordingly, the crop plan for these areas is 265 thousand and 80 thousand tons of grain. Together, this makes up almost a quarter of the total state order for wheat of 1.4 million. Machine operators have hundreds of John Deere and CLAAS combine harvesters at their disposal. This year, American and German cars are supplemented by telematics, which allows using the satellite system to track all the parameters of their work and movement. Thousands of trucks are involved in transporting grain to collection points.
