Filming will resume in Hollywood on June 12

California (USA) authorities declared that filming could resume as early as June 12. California Governor Gavin Newsom gave a permission for shooting films and TV shows, subject to approval from the health authorities, US media inform.
The Department of Health of the State warns that producers must obtain additional permission from local health authorities to start work.
Earlier, a working group of representatives of major Hollywood film studios and trade unions proposed a number of measures so that film crews returned to work, such as, for example, conducting mass testing for coronavirus, checking every day for symptoms, and taking other precautions.
Filming in Hollywood and around the world was suspended due to the spread of coronavirus in mid-March. The premiere of a number of films was postponed, because cinemas are still closed in many countries. Some film studios have decided to show their new productions on Netflix.
Hollywood estimates that it could lose about 20 billion dollars due to the pandemic. In case of stabilization of the situation, all members of the film crews, including stars, will have to follow safety measures from June 12, in particular, social distance, daily temperature measurement and wearing masks.
The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers prepared a 22-page White Book with proposals for returning to normal work, and submitted it for approval by officials in New York, California and Los Angeles.
