Turkmen agriculturists have started the wheat harvesting


The wheat harvest started on Friday, on June 5, in three regions of the country. Akhal, Lebap and Mary provinces simultaneously began harvesting. In a week, on June 12 the harvest will begin in western and northern regions - Balkan and Dashoguz. The state order for wheat grain this year has made up 1, 4 million tons. The biggest winter field from a total area in 690 thousand hectares is located traditionally in Akhal, and behind it are Mary, Lebap, and Dashoguz. The least land is taken under wheat in seaside region - Balkan. In the harvest 2 thousand 220 combine harvesters which marks have already got accustomed for a long time on Turkmen fields are operated. They include John Deere, Claas, Case, and New Holland. The innovation of this year is telematics simplifying work of machine operators and control over the course of harvest season. Industrial meetings in places were held the day before, so that the harvest campaign is held "correctly and effectively.
