Iranian writer receives the Golden Medal of Eurasian Literature Award


Iranian author Behnaz Zarrabizadeh won the Golden Medal of Eurasian Literature Award for her work “The Eleventh Golestan”.
The closing ceremony of the Eurasian Literary Festival was held in Moscow in September 2019. “The Eleventh Golestan” features the memories of the hero of Iran-Iraq war Ali Chitsazian, a young Iranian military commander, who defended his homeland. Many years later, his widow shares with readers memories of those difficult but infinite happy days that she enjoyed with her husband.
Eurasian literature award was established in 2013 by the Eurasian Creative Union and is dedicated to select such an artworks of literature, documentaries and journalist reports which express Eurasian historically known deep intercultural spirit and ethnical diversity.
