Portugal is again open for foreign tourists
Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva declared that the country is ready “to welcome” foreign tourists. He said that foreigners arriving in Portugal will undergo “minimal sanitary control” – tourists will not be placed in observatories. “The work of the health system in Portugal is well-established, and it is very important to receive people. Rules have already been published regarding public places, museums, beaches, hotels, restaurants that guarantee the safety of people,” said the Minister. Recall that on May 18, Portugal moved to the second phase of easing the coronavirus quarantine. Country starts to open bars, cafes, museums, and small non-food stores. In addition, Greece has announced that it will open its borders to tourists from July 1. Georgia and Turkey will also open in July. But the resort island of Bali will receive tourists only at the end of October.
