Monday is declared a day off in Turkmenistan due to Oraza holiday

People of Turkmenistan will celebrate Oraza Bayram on May 24. Due to the fact that this year’s observance of Oraza holiday falls on Sunday, the day off is moved to Monday, May 25. President Berdimuhamedov signed a decree about this today and all institutions and organizations are required to ensure the implementation of this Decree, a source of ORIENT in the administration of the government of Turkmenistan confirmed. Oraza Bayram, along with Kurban Bayram, is one of the two most important of Islam commemorations. It marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
