Turkmenistan imposes recreation and swimming restrictions on the Caspian coast due to pandemic

In view of a new type of the coronavirus pandemic, Turkmenistan has imposed recreation and swimming restrictions on the Caspian Sea coast since Friday. The relevant decision was made by the Extraordinary Commission of Turkmenistan on combating the spread of diseases.
In order to prevent the coronavirus from getting into and spread across Turkmenistan, the commission decided to introduce recreation restrictions for citizens of our country in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, as well as to limit swimming on the Caspian coast from May 15 to August 31 this year.
As of today, no cases of coronavirus have been reported in Turkmenistan.
