In Turkmenistan 1192 Turkmen and 210 foreign citizens were pardoned
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the decree on pardoning of the convicted persons in honour of the most esteemed night of month of Ramadan - Nights of Omnipotence. The document releases 1192 Turkmen and 210 foreign citizens from further enduring the primary custodial sanction, as well as from additional punishment as placing of the particular area detention duty. The president has assigned head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakyev, together with heads of other legal enforcement departments, to take measures so that the pardoned in the near future leave jails and can come back home, to their families.
