Alternative energy: economic indicators and innovations of 2017

“Green energy” increasingly feeds industrial complexes of countries, becomes the main source of electricity in private houses and demonstrates the growth of efficiency. According to the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the number of investments in alternative energy is increasing every year. In the case of increased sponsorship of projects, the creation of various innovative developments and new types of distribution of alternative energy, the number of investments in the industry until 2040 will reach $ 11 trillion a year. In particular, 23 billion dollars will be invested into the market of solar panels to light houses, and in the future this figure could reach 3.4 trillion. Renewable energy sources in each country find their application in different ways. Kromatix are easily installed and, if we look from a distance, are not different from the facade tile, because of decorative design. One square meter of material will cost 50-70 dollars, and one solar panel will cost 81-94 dollars.
The United States company Tesla announced its intention to increase the production of solar tiles by 2018. The company plans to open a Gigafactory 2 (photovoltaic cell factory) in the state of New York for this purpose.
According to the manufacturers, such roofs can serve a minimum of 25-30 years. The company plans to make solar tiles one of its main products as they are confident that in future this innovation will be in great demand. The German company Max Bögl Wind AG designed the highest wind turbine, which was built using the System 160+ construction technology.
This windmill is part of four towers, on which a generator with a capacity of 3.4 MW is placed. The windmill will annually produce 10,500 MWh of energy, and the profit from it will be 6.5 million euros per year.
As can be seen in the above examples, alternative energy is becoming increasingly cheaper for users, and more profitable business for entrepreneurs. The leaders of the industry such as Tesla or Max Bögl Wind AG are already appeared on the market.
However, alternative ways of extracting energy are still a type of activity that can be developed regardless of the possession of expensive technologies.
This opportunity is due to the easy entry into the market in view of the absence of global competition, as, in fact, companies that develop alternative ways of extracting “green energy” are competing not with each other, but with companies that produce electricity in traditional ways.
