An innovative veterinary centre and a hotel for pets opened near Ashgabat
In Turkmenistan an advanced veterinary centre intended for service of pets was opened. It is innovative both in respect of technologies and service assortment, and personnel, methodical and laboratory facilities.
The centre, to be more exact, a complex consisting of separate buildings of a vet clinic and a zoo hotel, are located in Anau, a 15 minute drive from Ashgabat. The fact how much this facility is important, speaks that before an official opening of the clinic, from the moment of its building and delivery a part of medical equipment, it started to serve all applied for help. That is not surprising.
The trade of a veterinary surgeon in itself assumes responsiveness, without this sincere attitude people do not go to study as this speciality. Here that is called, the chosen capable not simply to understand and feel another's pain, but aspiring to facilitate it and knowing how to do it. Their working day is not limited by schedule, they are called in the middle of night if suddenly the animal has got a road accident or there was other accident and it is necessary to rescue urgently - and they go to rescue and at times work wonders.
Therefore skilled veterinary surgeons, their names and contacts - on the lips of every caring fan of animals, they are transferred to each other in social networks as a light of humaneness in the relation to pet animals, as well as simple helpful information for all those who own pets.
Having learnt about the official opening of the vet centre which took place on Thursday, correspondents ORIENT also visited Anau, having taken at the same time cats and dogs - for a “live" reporting.
On the place of arrival one could still feel events held there that day. Minister of industry and construction production Serdar Berdimuhamedov who was recently appointed head of the Association “Turkmen alabays”, and other guests of honour took part in the opening ceremony of the complex.
We were met by the director of the new veterinary clinic Ali Muhametjanov who is known to all owners of pets in Ashgabat simply as Ali (his name, by the way, heads that the original rating of veterinary surgeons which appears at Turkmen users social networks).
In reply to congratulations on the opening of the clinic, he admitted: «It was my greatest dream! And here - it has come true! ».
«Such level, such possibilities - is not present in any other countries of our region. I thoroughly studied the situation when we started to develop this project after the president had sounded the idea of creation of a similar centre», - Ali told.
A «green light» in all respects at the higher state level was given to the presented project and the work was in full swing. All best, latest, most high-precision equipment was bought from world manufacturers literally from conveyor – they had time to carry out all delivery from the countries of Europe and Asia prior to the beginning of the pandemic. They began installation and adjustment and the first patients there and then began to arrive.
So, the Anau vet centre in a test mode has fulfilled all nuances of the activity and exploitation of medical equipment. Its local complete set is comparable with hardware facilities of the leading medical centres of Ashgabat which admire foreign experts and the invited learnt of the hardware complex of which many European clinics can envy.
When Ali spoke about realization of his dream, he also meant that now in the work experts can use possibilities of the innovative technologies considerably expanding potential of vet surgeons. The wide experience and practice of leading professionals of veterinary and cynology services of the country, the analysis of activity of the best world vet clinics have laid down in a basis of carefully generated order for the centre equipment in Anau, including its laboratory component.
Preventive vaccination, diagnostic inspections, physiotherapeutic and surgical treatment, nursing under supervision - all and other services at the advanced level are offered by the new vet centre.
… Having visited consulting and other rooms of the clinic where our pets were examined for signs of diseases and have found their quite healthy unless conducting not so mobile way of life that their results on a racetrack have shown, we have estimated the main thing is a professionalism and very attentive relation of the personnel both to animals, and to their owners.
As to operational and laboratory units which have kindly shown us by way of illustration clinic possibilities, then as we were explained by experts, this is a super complete set of the technological equipment working on the special software.
Chipping of animals, night duties for emergencies and mobile first aid are provided in the new vet clinic.
We also visited a hotel for pets, which carries out a function of keeping animals if owners have, let us assume, left for holiday or a business trip. Here it is possible to leave for time not only cats, dogs, birds or rodents, but even small aquarium fishes or other representatives of fauna which during the basic time are kept at home.
They will be looked after, fed, taken for a walk here and if one wishes, your pets can have massage, hairstyle etc. System of safety with blocked inputs and round-the-clock video observation exclude possibility of runaway of an animal.
An interesting addition is a training platform for dogs with services of the professional cynologist. It will train your canine friend in commands and many exercises. Such innovation also will give an impulse to development of applied cynology sports, and the platform can serve as arena for agility - concerning a young sport with a dog, promptly gaining popularity all over the world.
During the opening of this zoo hotel a significant event took place: the head of the Association «Turkmen alabays» presented alabays, grown up in a specialised nursery, to other regions of the country meaning that there will be also constructed the same veterinary complexes and breeding nurseries, as in Akhal region. Also a thoroughbred alabays with a documentary family tree have been presented to cynology services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and frontier department of the country.
And a alabay puppy which was named Palvan by the state head and which means a strong wrestler, was given to the president of Turkmenistan as gift.
