President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on awarding the anniversary medal "To the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, veterans of the war, wives of war veterans and labor veterans who worked in the rear during the war will be awarded with a jubilee medal, Turkmenistan’s state news agency TDH said. The awarding decree was adopted to commemorate the Great Victory Day and taking into account the Protocol decision of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States of September 28, 2018. In accordance with the document, the Regulation on awarding the anniversary medal “To the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”, a memo of delivery and a sample certificate of the anniversary medal will be approved.
