Gifts of the East Exhibition is ended in St. Petersburg

The exhibition “Gifts of the East. New Silk Road” that opened on October 24 is ended in the northern capital of the Russian Federation. Representatives of Asian countries and nationalities from Urals to Kamchatka, as well as from Altai to Iran, and from Caucasus to Japan took part in the event organized by the Mekan Turkmen Culture Society in cooperation with Eurasia and Near East Cultural and Exhibition centers. For five days, the organizers of the exhibition acquainted the guests with the history and culture of Eastern countries, including fashion, cuisine, arts and crafts, and music and dancing traditions.Altyn ASHYROVA
Within the framework of the exhibition, a round table “Development of the halal market in the North-West: perspectives and participants” with participation of Hazrat Pancheyev, the chief mufti of St. Petersburg, entrepreneurs, marketing specialists, and public leaders was held.
A number of master classes, history excursions and quests were held for the guests of the fair, the winners of which were awarded with valuable prizes.
