IDB will provide Iran with a loan of 23 million euros for the medical sector


The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) agreed to provide a loan of 23 million euros to Iran for the purchase of equipment for the Shariati -2 hospital. This was announced by Deputy Director of the Tehran Medical University Mahmoud Biglar. “The Shariati-2 hospital after the Tehran Cardiology Center project is considered the second project in this area that will receive a loan from the Islamic Development Bank,” he said on Saturday, saying that the project is physically developed at 60%. Moreover, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Iran increased to 96,448, fatalities - 6,156, and 77350 cases of recovery were recorded. This was announced on Saturday by the head of the department of public relations of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education Kiyanush Jahanpur. “Over the past day, 802 new cases of infection with coronavirus have been detected, 65 people died from it. 2787 patients with coronavirus are in serious condition,” Jahanpur said at a press conference.
