Ramadan's virtual tent opens in Dubai and northern emirates return to normal after quarantine

Dubai Municipality opens a virtual tent of Ramadan for its employees. The objective of the project is to make up for the lack of a traditional tent, where guests are used to gathering for conversation on holy days. Let us recall, that this year, mass gatherings for Muslims, including in mosques and hotels, were banned as a measure of prevention of the coronavirus COVID-19.
The virtual tent of the municipality will provide an opportunity to meet, exchange greetings and discuss social issues in special circumstances for the whole world, as well as not violate the government’s instructions to stay at home. The leaders of the municipality will hold meetings with employees online every week and discuss socially important tasks in a traditional atmosphere for Ramadan. The theme “Dubai is the city of the future” will be devoted to changes in the emirate at all levels, including after overcoming the current crisis.
At the same time, the remote northern emirates are returning to normal life (link: https://russianemirates.com/news/uae-news/severnyye-emiraty-vozvrashchayut-sya-k-normal-noy-zhizni-posle-karantina/) after a forced break amid the outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus following Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
After quarantine, shopping centers are opened in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which now will be open from noon until 21:00 and let in no more than 30% of visitors of the total capacity. Visitors are required to wear a mask and maintain a social distance. Parking cannot be filled by more than 50%. All entertainment venues and prayer rooms will remain closed. For older people after 60 years and children from three to 12 years old, entry to malls is prohibited.
In the emirate of Umm al-Quwain, shopping centers and restaurants also open after quarantine. Staff and visitors are required to comply with COVID-19 Coronavirus Prevention Measures prescribed by the authorities. Hairdressers and beauty salons have also opened in Umm al-Kuwain, which provide hair and nail care and shaving services. All waiting areas are closed, and reception is by appointment only.
In neighboring Ajman, shopping malls are open from noon until 10 p.m. Their occupancy should also not exceed 30%. Buffet service is not allowed in restaurants. Any mass gatherings, including religious ones, are prohibited.
Sharjah and Fujairah municipalities have not yet issued circulars allowing companies to resume business after quarantine.
