The anniversary of Pyotr Tchaikovsky as an occasion once again to remember his immortal works

The concert of classical music devoted to the 180th anniversary of the outstanding Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, was held in the Turkmen national conservatory named after Maya Kulieva.
- The music of Tchaikovsky seizes all fibres of human soul. One cannot just sing or simply listen to it, - national actress of Turkmenistan Gulnar Nuryeva who performed at the concert romances ««If I Had Known» » and «Does the Day Reign?». - I consider that each actor in repertoire should have at least Tchaikovsky one product.
«I would wish in every way by my soul that my music would extend and the number of people loving it increase, finding in it a consolation and support» - so the composer defined for himself the mission of creativity.
And his dream has come true. Today Tchaikovsky sounds everywhere, on all stages and world platforms. His lyrical and pathetic music always finds the devoted and expert listener.
And here the Ashgabat public remained in delight. On the stage the ballad and a duet from "The Queen of Spades", a solo from the ballet «The Sleeping Beauty», Iolanta's Arioso from the opera with the same name, a trio «In memory of a great artist» - a musical monument to the friendship between P.I.Tchaikovsky and Nikolai Grigoryevich Rubinstein, his untimely deceased friend and instructor, "Canzonetta" - II part of the Concert for a violin with an orchestra in D major sounded.
Works by Tchaikovsky are difficult to perform, especially for pianists. After all, he himself masterful played the piano and composed music with rich orchestra and accord patterns.
- In Tchaikovsky’s music one can feel subtle lyrics, it may be for this reason it is so close to me. Today in my performance romances «It was in the Early Spring» and «Take My Heart Away» sounded. I dream to play Tatyana Larina from his big composition - operas "Eugene Onegin", - vocalist Bahar Durdyeva told.
Tchaikovsky’s music is penetrated by the Russian spirit and Russian culture. One of the critics, living in at one time with the composer, wrote: «you are the greatest musical talent of modern Russia. I see in you the greatest or better to say – a unique hope of our musical future». And by this all had been said.
