EU-CA dialogue on ecology and climate: Turkmenistan and Germany verify positions
The cooperation of the European Union with the countries of Central Asia in the area of environment and climate change was one of the topics of the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan Neithart Höfer-Wissing. Turkmen diplomats and eco-experts, representatives of the ministries of agriculture and environment protection, the water resources sector, attended the meeting. Platform on cooperation in the area of environment is part of the EU–Central Asia strategy and regional policy dialogue on climate change mitigation, promoting a green economy and transboundary water management, and green investments support in the relevant sectors of the economy. In this regard, the EU is ready to share its experience and advanced technologies.
