A concert in an unusual format, or «Hollywood in Ashgabat»
This Sunday evening Ashgabat residents and visitors of the capital experienced the magic atmosphere - in "Turkmenistan" and film and concert hall a concert «Hollywood in Ashgabat» took place. Magically bewitching music, organically being combined with dramatic art of films as if a breath of fresh air, turned heads of music fans.
To listen to famous composers - John Williams, James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Klaus Badelt, Alan Silvestri, Michael Giacchino and Howard Shore - performed by the State Symphonic Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the baton of Rasul Klychev is itself is an improbable event!
In the program the basic musical themes of the famous Hollywood films sounded: "Harry Potter", «Star Wars», "Forrest Gump", "Titanic", «Pirates of the Caribbean», etc., both in collective, and in solo performance. a soundtrack from the «Pirates of Caribbean sea» by Hans Zimmer, one of favourite composers of many our contemporaries, especially pleased listeners.
It is necessary to note professionalism, grace and cheerfulness of the conductor absorbed by his profession. Having become an expert in his business, maestro Rasul Klychev amazed everyone, remarkably working both with the group and with the auditorium.
- The today's concert has surpassed all my expectations, - Ashgabat resident Serdar Cherkezov says. - it is very important, along with the organisation of evenings for connoisseurs of classical art, to carry out the musical actions easily perceived and finding a ready response of unsophisticated listeners. It is good that such concerts are held, allowing to hold in remembrance of musical geniuses, many of which, alas, are no more with us. Many soundtracks heard today, were for me nostalgic and have caused an insuperable desire at least for a short while again to return to my childhood.
- The program made of cult musical compositions, became a fine gift for many, - violoncellist of the orchestra, teacher of music school №4 of Ashgabat city Oksana Rozyeva tells. We have gone a long way to it and carefully rehearsed. Sounding of live music helps to forget all problems, to distract from daily vanity. It would be desirable to believe that the soundtracks which have sounded today will be popular for centuries coming and composers of the present and future will write not less ingenious music to films. After all, the present music should not die, it is a history of the country, the world, a separate person, remained in sounds …
The public saw off each of number with a loud applause and shouts "gallantly", after all, the group of musicians was rather magnificent, yes, it cannot be another if it is the State Symphonic Orchestra of Turkmenistan.
Today’s concert, undoubtedly, will remain for a long time in the cultural life of the country, and impressions of those whom has had the luck to become its spectators, it will last longer than one week.
