African countries welcome Ramadan on different days

The obligatory post for Muslims began - Ramadan. For a whole month, Muslims will refuse to eat or drink in the daytime. All this can be done only before sunrise and after sunset.
Despite the fact that many Muslims adhere to strict fasting and its rules are the same in all countries, there are traditions in celebrating the holy month in different countries.
In African countries, the month of Ramadan begins on different days. In Somalia, Mali, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Ghana, South Sudan, The Gambia, Seychelles, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Algeria, the month of Ramadan began yesterday. And in South Africa, Senegal, Morocco and Sudan, Ramadan’s first post will begin on Saturday due to the absence of a crescent.
In Africa, for the holiday, the streets are decorated with special colorful Ramadan lanterns - fanuses, as well as multi-colored lamps, garlands and colored fabric. Greetings are hung above the doors of the house: "Welcome Ramadan." After the conversation ("Iftar"), the children let beautiful salutes into the sky.
During Ramadan, Muslims usually visit friends in the evening, where they are treated to new special dishes.
