Enterprises in a number of economic sectors will resume work in Uzbekistan


According to the decision of the Special Republican Anti-Crisis Commission, several sectors of the economy are allowed to operate during the quarantine in order to maintain the stability of the economic sectors, prevent the increase in unemployment and ensure income to the state budget in Uzbekistan, the Uzbek media reported.
Operation permits cover the construction materials markets, including building materials retail and wholesale shops (with an area of at least 500 sq. m.); shops of large manufacturers of non-food products (sanitary rate is 1 buyer per 10 sq. m.); artisans and craftsmen.
Sale of products is allowed not in the markets, but in individual stores for entrepreneurs engaged in the cultivation and sale of seeds and seedlings, sales of spare parts for cars. The wok permit extends to organizations servicing automobiles, agricultural and construction machinery (these should be enterprises with an area of at least 1000 sq. m.), enterprises providing vulcanization services, as well as dry cleaners, branches (cash desks) of commercial banks at various facilities, notary offices and insurance companies .
These enterprises will have to comply with a number of sanitary requirements. As of April 26, 2020, 10:00 the number of coronavirus infection cases in Uzbekistan is 1865. By this time, 561 patients have recovered, and seven people have died in the country.
