An 800-gram new-born child has "won" coronavirus in Iran
Representative of the University of Health Sciences named after Şehid Saduki of the Iranian city of Yazd Mahmud Nuri informed on the recovery of a new-born baby infected with coronavirus, as IRNA reports.
The baby was born with a weight of 800 grams, for today, according to Nuri, Emir Arsalan (new-born) weighs 1200 grams and receives 15 millilitres of milk every three hours.
According to Mahmud Nuri, in many respects this recover grows out of efforts of nurses and doctors in the intensive therapy unit of new-borns in the Shohadaye Kargar Hospital. «As the doctor, I am glad that dear Arsalan and his mother have recovered», - he said.
Iran is one of the most successful countries in control of coronavirus and till now from approximately 90 000 persons with the virus nearby 70 000 have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals.
