Sculptural composition of horses in the center of Ashgabat to be lighted up with the coat colors of the Akhal-Teke horse breed
Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has looked around the updated sculptural composition of horses in the center of Ashgabat,. Located near the modern art gallery, it has long been a symbol of the artistic and monumental environment of the Turkmen capital. Monument of horses impressing by their plastic and shining with gold is appeared on the eve of the National Turkmen Horse Holiday. From here, park esplanade start, which is one of the most picturesque and rich in floral content of the capital, and goes further to the west of the city. Head of state gave assignments to the Vice-Premier Shamuhamet Durdylyev and the Hyakim of Ashgabat Yaztagan Gylyjov, who were accompanying him, on improvement of this and other green areas and suggested an interesting idea on lighting the sculptural composition of horses in the dark. The idea is to use the effects of color highlighting in a way to give each of the horse figure of the sculptural monument a specific colour that proper to a particular coat colour of the Akhal-Teke horse breed. Such original solution would make the monumental sculpture more true-to-life and, at the same time, peculiar.
