Embassy of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan organizes remote sports events
Embassy of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan organized remote sports events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Neutrality status of Turkmenistan.
Turkmen students studying at the Urgench branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Urgench branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technology named after Muhammad Al-Khorezmi, as well as numerous students from India and Kyrgyzstan took part in sports competitions in futsal and volleyball.
At the opening ceremony of the sports event, Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Yazguly Mammedov, delivered on-line speech, and, taking into account the current situation amid the spread of coronavirus infectious disease across the world, urged youth to follow personal hygiene habits, use personal protective equipment and disinfection equipment, and do physical activity.
