Galkynysh Group presents another festive show to the Turkmen audience


In honour of the Turkmen Horse Day, the State Circus of Turkmenistan has pre-pared a new show program. Today, the famous Galkynysh National Equestrian Games Group, who once again demonstrated the consummate mastery of riders, introduced it at the arena.
Djigits, who admired the visitors at many circus arenas and world festivals, per-formed exciting show, the riders at full gallop stood up, jumped to the ground and back to the saddle and did skilfully other acrobatic feats.
Their ability to interact with the horse and understand him is amazing. Each per-formance of these talented and brave equestrians creates a furore.
“The horse is a sensitive creature.” He foresees the rider’s movements and readily responds to it,” Serdar Gurbangulyev, who has been the member of the Galkynysh Group for 10 years, says. “Our mentor, Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan Pygy Bayramdurdyev, teaches not only the specifics of national equestrian games, but also sets difficult acrobatic tasks.”
Pygy also performed at the arena, riding Akhan horse, who was included in the Guinness Book of Records. Everyone applauded him for the masterful performed jigitovka skills.
In addition to horses and jigits, the show included the performance of Alabai, who is another symbol of national heritage. The horse and Alabai were always faithful friends and assistants of the Turkmen, and today they are real living tal-ismans of victories.
