In American State of New York now it is possible to hold marriage ceremonies online, its governor Andrew Cuomo on his Twitter page informed. Such decision was adopted in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. Now one can receive a marriage certificate through the Internet, and registration can pass in a videoconference format.
Such decision was accepted after restrictive measures because of the corona-virus have been prolonged till May 15.
According to John Hopkins's University, the USA are on the first place in the number of infected people with the coronavirus - in the country more than 735 thousand cases were confirmed. Over 39 thousand persons have died, more than 66 thousand people have recovered.
US president Donald Trump has announced that he allows the authorities of the states to make independently a decision on removal of the restrictions entered in connection with spread of COVID-19. The quarantine removal under his plan will pass at three stages. For a month because of the entered restrictions in the USA already more than 20 million persons have lost their jobs. According to the poll by The Wall Street Journal and NBC News, the majority of Americans are afraid that the USA will remove restrictions very quickly.
