The first batch of humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan - medical masks - arrived in Moscow, Interfax was informed at the secretariat of Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk. The cargo was sent by the government of Uzbekistan as part of the fight against the spread of coronavirus. In total, 5 million medical masks, as well as medical gauze, will be delivered to Russia from Uzbek partners. Overchuk said that "the received medical devices will be sent primarily to those who work at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic." The South Korean authorities removed a number of restrictions that were introduced during the period of the active spread of coronavirus in the country. This was announced by Prime Minister Chun Se Gyun. At the same time, a number of measures of social distance were extended for another 16 days. It is safest to maintain intense social distance, but in reality it is not so simple. We must find a middle ground,” the head of government said. According to him, starting May 6, the country will be able to switch to “routine social distance” if “stable management at the current level” remains, Interfax reports. Earlier it was reported that specialists from the Daegu Institute of Science and Technology and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province have created a reagent that takes only 20 minutes to test for coronavirus.
