The winners of the festive horse race on occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day to be awarded with prizes from the president

President Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution in accordance to which a special prize fund would be created to award prizes to the winners of equestrian competitions that to be held on the occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day. The Horse Holiday is celebrated in Turkmenistan on the last Sunday of April, and the day before and on this day, according to tradition, various competitions are held with the participation of the best jockeys and Akhal-Teke horses representing the leading horse farms of the country. The horseracing at various distances is the central sporting event. Winners in each category are awarded with prizes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
