Turkmen wrestlers contest for World Cup medals in Budapest

Four Turkmen athletes take part in the World Wrestling Championship, which started on October 20 in Budapest at the Laszlo Pappa Arena.
Bronze medalists of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games of 2017, Batyr Bordzhakov (70 kg) and Dovletmyrat Orazgylydzhov (79 kg) will demonstrate free-style wrestling skills, and 2017 Asian champion among youth, bronze winner of the Asian Championship 2018 in Bishkek, XVII Summer Asian Games 2014 in Inchon and IV Islamic Solidarity Games 2017 in Baku Shermet Permanov (up to 77 kg) - in Greco-Roman wrestling.
Over 860 wrestlers from 114 countries gathered for the championship, which will last until October 28.
