Amber medicine from Dashoguz
Beekeeping is one of the most ancient trades of mankind. Honey has always been not only a delicacy, but also, first of all, a universal medicine. Hundreds and thousand years pass and skill of bee keeping and extraction of honey does not lose its urgency and an army of beekeepers in the world only increases. And Turkmenistan is not an exception either.
Residents of the district named after S.A.Niyazov of Dashoguz region Fahriddin Yakubov says: «Beekeeping - one of the brightest memoirs of my childhood, the father then had a small apiary. Now I have already high-grade manufacture working as a full cycle and including breeding apiaries for selection and reproduction, commodity direction and a line for cultivation of bees, a special equipment, shops on processing and finished goods packing, own laboratory, warehouses and two specialised shops. Since 2020 we have been running «Tebigy ball» Economic Society and we represent commodity mark «Gench».
- A bee - a unique insect. In the course of its life it makes honey, beebread, royal jelly, propolis, wax and apitoxin. And all it is unique natural means for maintenance of human immunity, treatment of many diseases.
- Any beekeeper by nature – an experimenter. In our business it is impossible to buy simply bees and to wait, while they will start to yield honey for you», - Fahriddin continues. - To be a beekeeper means to feel bee and work as hard as it does. And it is not just beautiful words -the bee-keeper really has always much work. It is annually necessary to update beer blood, to transport beehives to a new place so that bees can collect more nectar, to increase number of bees, to give the chance to queen bees to establish own families – one can hardly count all this.
- For professional growth we, Turkmen beekeepers, communicate with foreign experts on the Internet, we read special literature, we try to introduce various innovative methods, we work over improvement of taste and quality of honey. We plan to begin cooperation with Russian bee-keepers, we exchange with them experience.
Soon, Fahriddin Yakubov plans to pass into the work with multi-case American system that will allow to increase number of bees and quantity of received honey. Besides it, beekeepers of the northern region of Turkmenistan want to be engaged in manufacture of bumblebees which also, like bees, are important for flora - bumblebees are irreplaceable "experts" in pollination of flowers.
Unfortunately, the number of bees on a planet in last decades reduces and their disappearance can globally impact nature and the ecology of the Earth. Also therefore, as more than ever, but honourable and valuable work is the trade of beekeeper todays.
- Not a single real beekeeper will never make bad honey or to dilute it with something. The main certificate of quality in our business is conscience. I, like my colleagues worldwide, take pleasure in results of our work, from advantage which I bring both to people and world around, from a dialogue with nature, - Fahriddin told at parting.
