Coronavirus medical supplies delivered to Uzbekistan from China


Humanitarian aid with medicines and medical supplies for the treatment and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus was delivered to Uzbekistan by special flight from the People’s Republic of China, the Uzbek media reported.
The humanitarian aid - 50,000 packages of medicines - was sent at the initiative of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan from the Xinjiang Physical-Chemical Technical and Shanghai Pharmaceutical Institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Cargo delivery to Tashkent is organized by the Sino-Uzbek Medical Technopark.
As of the morning of April 10 in Uzbekistan, the number of cases of coronavirus infection has increased by 42 in a day and amounted to 624. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health. 38 patients have already recovered, three have died.
