OPEC + has agreed a new transaction
OPEC + has agreed a new transaction, Minister of Energy Alexander Novak on the channel «Russia 24» told. As he said, the agreement will operate for two years - till May, 1, 2022. First two months oil recovery reduction will make ten millions barrels a day. In the second half of the year decrease should make already eight millions, in 2021 - six millions barrels. 23 states participate in the transaction. Ten of them are the countries of the OPEC: Algeria, Angola, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Iraq, Kuwait, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The states which are not entering the OPEC, in the transaction are also ten: Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brunei, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Russia, Sudan, and South Sudan. Three more countries entering into this organisation, are still released from reductions of extraction because of political problems is Iran, Libya and Venezuela. As the minister told, OPEC + will watch the market. After the OPEC +negotiations President of Russia Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump and King of Saudi Arabia Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud discussed the transaction by phone, as Assistant to the American President Daniel Scavino informed. The parties have confirmed «an attitude towards coordination of actions» for stabilisation of the oil market, the Kremlin press-service informed.
