Digital logistics: Turkmenistan will introduce the satellite monitoring of motor transport


Turkmenistan from October 1, 2020 will start to introduce a system of digital tracking of motor transport in the territory of the country. Realization of this project will be engaged by "Turkmentekhnostroy" Closed Joint Stock Company of “Turkmenavtotransport” Agency. Thus, the motor transportation agency expects to lift efficiency of logistics at the expense of automation of business processes and solution of problems of management, analysis and account. Control of city and long-distance, international, transit transportations of cargoes and passengers will provide the independent electronic devices co-operating with systems of global satellite navigation and GPS positioning. Trackers will be established at first by all city taxi and passenger buses in Ashgabat, then by trucks, both local, and foreign, and further in vehicles of Turkmen enterprises and the companies which are engaged in international transportation. Wide functionality of modern means of GPS-monitoring (control of movement of cars, definition and restriction of high-speed mode, fuel consumption measurement, audio-control of salon of the car, engine blocking at departure for limits of a working zone, etc.) in aggregate provide safety of transportations and decrease in exploitation costs, help to watch punctuality of drivers, observance of the route and schedule by them.
