Georgia for Turkish exporters – an important transit point for deliveries of production to the markets of Southern Caucasus and the countries of Central Asia, - Turkish news agency Anadolu informs . Now both countries co-ordinate goods traffic in the region against the background of the novel coronavirus pandemic (Сovid-19). Within the limits of struggle against infection spread movement of citizens is limited at "Çıldır-Aktash" and "Turkgezyu" customs points on the Turkish-Georgian border; however, cargo transportation is carried out smoothly. Ambassador of Turkey in Tbilisi Fatma Ceren Yazgan in her conversation with the correspondent of "Anadolu" Agency named the present crisis of pandemic Сovid-19 as the most serious one for the past 100 years. «The pandemic has designated a number of new issues on the agenda of bilateral relations. The main of them is necessity of preservation of a chain of uninterrupted deliveries of goods for the region», - diplomat stated. Yazgan has underlined that despite restrictions in movement of persons through the border, Turkey and Georgia remain a part of strategically important transport corridor between Europe and Central Asia.
