In Dubai after disinfection grocery markets started to work
The authorities of Dubai gave the permission to opening the fish, meat, fruit -vegetable markets, and also the market of spices after conduction of the sterilization programme. All markets of the complex Waterfront Market have begun to work in a usual mode and serve buyers from April 7.
It is informed that in the territory of the markets round-the-clock programs for intensive disinfection and sanitation were carried out to provide conformity to requirements on prevention of COVID-19.
All markets will be open from 06:00 to 20.00. Procedures on disinfecting the areas will be carried out during the day, and at night works on damp cleaning and disinfection will be carried out in the strengthened mode.
Besides, at all entrances there were established temperature control units for measurement of body temperature of workers and buyers. All the territory of the market also is supplied by enough points with hand sanitizers.
All workers and buyers use masks and gloves, and also practice social distancing. One member of a family can visit the market at a time only, the entrance for children is forbidden.
Earlier Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management of Dubai, in coordination with the Command and Control Centre for Combating COVID-19 have informed on introduction of a round-the-clock mode of the national program of sterilization, from April, 4, 2020, for 2 weeks, with prolongation possibility.
Strict quarantine operates in all areas of the Emirates. Thus, movement of people and transport also are limited round the clock for safety of health of inhabitants of the United Arab Emirates.
Besides, the strengthened testing for COVID-19 in densely populated areas of Dubai is held. Performance of the program of sterilization will demand from each resident of Dubai round the clock to stay at home. The exception will make a shopping of products and medicines for one member of a family at a time. Thus, to leave the house it is possible only in a mask and gloves, everyone is obliged to keep from another at a safe distance.
The committee urges all inhabitants of Dubai to observe strict rules. Infringers will be pursued under the law. Only workers of the vital branches of economy are released from round-the-clock quarantine, including medical, suppliers of products, manufacturers and suppliers of medicines and etc.
