The transport sector of Turkmenistan will get a state support during the pandemic
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the enlarged video session of the government charged the government to develop measures for support of transport sector of Turkmenistan in connection with the pandemic of new coronavirus.
The head of the state noted that as a result of the restrictions entered for counteraction of spread of coronavirus infection in the world, the sector of air transport faces financial difficulties.
In connection with suspension of air communication and decrease in cargo transportation the transport branch may have problems with performance of its production targets.
Berdimuhamedov charged vice-premiers Bayramgeldi Ovezov (transport and communications) and Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov (economy and the finance) to analyze the situation which is likely to develop till the end of the year, and prepare proposals for deferral of payment of taxes or credits by transport workers and support of this branch.
