On its way to Tajikistan, the messengers of Turkmen culture performed in the Uzbek city of Termez
On October 14, large cultural delegation from Turkmenistan arrived in Dushanbe, where the Days of Turkmenistan Culture would take place. On its way way, the train with the words “Long live to the Turkmen-Tajik friendship!” went across the Turkmen cities of Mary and Turkmenabat, where the messengers of Turkmen culture had warm welcome and cordial farewell ceremonies with songs and dances.
The meeting ceremony with the representatives of culture, public, Uzbek mass media as well as with Turkmen diaspora and art masters that took place at the railway station of Termez city was even more colorful.
A very heartfelt meeting turned into a bright holiday of friendship of peoples, during which Turkmen soloists, dancers and musicians presented bright concert numbers reflecting the traditions of succession and richness of stylistic palette of national art. Cultural representatives of neighboring country introduced musical art of Uzbek nation to Turkmen guests. Performance of kushtdepdy, the ancient ritual dance of the Turkmen, with participation of the artists of both countries was final chord of the event.
At Dushanbe railway station, ceremonial reception was organized for the Turkmen guests. Dance collectives of both countries participated in improvised concert, which was ended up with energetic kushtdepdy dance.
Within the scope of the Days of Turkmenistan Culture in the Republic of Tajikistan that to open on October 15, book exposition, exhibition of decorative and applied art items, creative meetings, performances and concert of art masters are planned for residents and guests of Dushanbe.
The Turkmen delegation will also visit Dusti settlement, the Republic of Tajikistan, where Turkmen diaspora lives.
