Turkmenistan takes part in international exercises in the Caspian

The international complex exercises "Khazar-2017" with the participation of Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran and Turkmenistan were launched in the south-west of the Caspian Sea, not far from Baku, Sputnik Azerbaijan reports. The purpose of joint exercises is to increase the effectiveness of interaction between rescue services of the Caspian states in emergency situations. More than 1,500 employees of various rescue services take part in the exercises, accompanied by more than 300 units of equipment from all the Caspian states. Heads of emergency agencies of the Caspian states and the International Civil Defense Organization also arrived in Azerbaijan.
