The US Embassy in Turkmenistan organizes a charter flight from Turkmenabat International Airport to Washington for US citizens intending to return to the states. The departure will take place on Saturday, March 28, according to the website of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan. According to information received by ORIENT, citizens of some Latin American and European countries temporarily staying on the territory of Turkmenistan will also be accepted on board. On the same day, a plane will fly from Turkmenabat to Moscow with citizens of the Russian Federation and other states, temporarily residing in the territory of Turkmenistan. Against the backdrop of the suspension of regular flights around the world due to the coronavirus pandemic and other related restrictions undertaken in many countries, Turkmenistan also, as reported by ORIENT, is working on the organization of the export of its citizens from other states.
