Chinese medical professionals have held a videoconference with their colleagues from Eurasian countries

The Eurasian videoconference concerning control and prevention of COVID-19 was organised and held by Chinese medical experts, as was informed by The News International. The high-ranking officials of public health services, experts in prevention of epidemics, representatives of customs and inspection of quarantine department of China and 18 countries of Europe, Central and Southern Asia took part in it. Among them are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Maldives. According to Gwadar Pro App, Deputy Director-General Yu Jun from the department of European- Central Asian affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China welcomed the participants and underlined the need of working together to fight the virus. As was stated at the conference by the representative of the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, China has always been transparent about the situation and shared all the necessary information with the WHO. In the process, we have got much experience. China stands with other countries who have suffered from its outbreak and is prepared to share with them it's control and prevention measures. We are all out to work together to fight the common enemy ». Outbreak of COVID-19 became a very unexpected and extreme event for China and other countries of the world. China managed to overcome this deadly epidemic after two months of resolute, vital and vigorous measures. It was underlined that mass mobilisation and strategy of early detection, early reporting, early isolation and treatment, are very important for prevention of spread of COVID-19. During the videoconference the Chinese experts in detail told participants about their best practice in struggle against the epidemic, including clinical experience, a policy of detection of viruses, identifications, managements and treatment, adopted in China. They pointed out the importance of national solidarity, strong leadership and sanitary education of population as key elements of strategy of restraint. The videoconference was concluded with the question-and-answer session. In Turkmenistan not a single case or suspicion of COVID-19 has been confirmed. Nevertheless, in the country serious preventive measures on penetration and spread of COVID-19 were taken.
