New inhabitants were delivered from the capital of Azerbaijan to the Tashkent Zoo - 10 purple swamp hens, two brown bears, mute swans and female porcupine.
As the press service of the Zoo informs, all “migrants” feel normal after the flight and are now successfully adapting to the new realities of life.
Also, visitors of the Tashkent Zoo can see the collection of butterflies of the famous entomologist Sergei Chebotarev. This is his childhood passion. Sergei collected the first exemplars of his collection in Turkmenistan and then replenished it with butterflies from other countries of the region, as well as various natural and climatic zones of Russia.
