Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina accredited in Turkmenistan
The Speaker of the Parliament if Turkmenistan received letters of credence from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkmenistan Kemal Muftic. The diplomat expressed the readiness of his country to build up cooperation with Turkmenistan in the trade, economy and humanitarian spheres as well as in such areas as tourism and sports, demonstrating particular interest in the Turkmen horse breeding. Even in ancient times, story-writers called the world-known, glorified Ahalteke horses, bred by Turkmen horse-breeders in close alliance with nature, ‘heavenly horses’ for their unsurpassed beauty and amazing grace. By the way, Bosnia and Herzegovina is best known for the horse-breeding of special small Bosnian horses remarkable for endurance and adaptation to mountainous area. Turkmenistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina established diplomatic relations on June 17, 1996.
