Americans were recommended not to go to Turkmenistan where is no case of COVID-19

A number of foreign mass-media informed that the US State Department raised an alert level of danger of trips to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan for Americans to level 3. In messages it is noted that the measure was taken due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran on which the two states border. The third, a penultimate level of danger, means the recommendation to refuse from trips without a special necessity.
According to the editorial office of ORIENT, here it is necessary to give a small explanation. The recommendation of the US State Department to the citizens not to visit Turkmenistan where no case of coronavirus has been registered yet, speaks not of danger to catch COVID-19, but measures which the Turkmen government has adopted in connection with spread of disease in the world.
Turkmenistan has taken measures that the coronavirus doesn’t enter the state territory, and these measures yield its result. Not only US citizens, but also other states where the unsuccessful situation with the coronavirus is observed, who have arrived in Turkmenistan, it will be necessary to undergo quarantine in a local medical institution. How this quarantine is implemented, ORIENT has already told its readers.
As to the USA, then as was informed by the TV channel NBC, more than 500 persons have caught COVID-19 and 21 persons have died in the country.
Earlier it was informed that the authorities of several American states have already introduced an emergency situation in connection with spread of coronavirus. In this light the requirement for the citizens of who arrive in the territory of Turkmenistan from the states where the coronavirus is spread, to undergo quarantine, is more than justified.
