Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation hopes for fulfilment of the agreement between the USA and Taliban movement
Russia hopes that the agreement reached between the USA and the Taliban movement will be completely fulfilled, Maria Zaharova, an official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated at the briefing. The diplomat noted that aspiration for peace should become a priority for all forces in Afghanistan, including the social and political ones. Answering questions of journalists, Zaharova underlined that arrangements which have been reached between the USA and Taliban movement, we have already evaluated. They have led not to instant progressive results but, unfortunately, to deterioration of the situation. Russia hopes that the signed agreement will be completely fulfilled. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is convinced that aspiration for true peace in the situation created in Afghanistan should become an unconditional priority for all forces, including for social and political ones.
